Club Partnership Guide

Our goal is to maximize your club’s membership value. To do that, we ask that your members know about Balance. Specifically, we want them to know what Balance is and that it is available to them as a member benefit at group rates. In other words, we want your club to get the credit for providing your members with a valuable benefit at a lower than market price.

To achieve this goal, we recommend an on-going communications strategy. That strategy is simple. It consists of three phases – preparation, announcement and reinforcement. Both phases will leverage your club’s capabilities as well as our own.

Let’s share our logos with each other.

We need logos, graphics, and whatever else you normally use for branding. Any file format is fine - .AI, .SVG .PDF, .PNG, .JPG - whatever you use is what we use. Please send them by email to dave@balanceforcyclists.com - he’s our creative type of guy, real swell human being. Great beard, too.

Follow us on social media.

Get connected with our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts. Follow us, and we’ll follow you back! This will help us connect your club and our program together in social media, which will be useful for the annoucement and reinforcement stages.


We build your club’s microsite, and provide you a unique “group code” for club members to access group prices.

While your club drafts an announcement, we will build a branded micro-site for your club. This site will communicate information about our policy and how your members can take advantage of your club’s group rates.

We’ll create a a club-branded microsite, targeted towards your members. On this page, we’ll communicate information about our program, including the “group code” that members need to access the correct pricing. That code will be in a big red button, can’t miss it.

You draft communications.

Prior to announcement, we recommend drafting any communications to your membership. The goal is to communicate a clear message – that there is a new member benefit, what that benefit is, and that it is available at a group rate for club members. To shorten this step, we’ve drafted language your club is welcome to adapt to its needs.

If your club lacks capability in any of these areas, particularly regarding email or social media, let us know. We’re glad to help.

We draft advertisements.
